Island-City 70: the Island of Fulfillment
A resuscitation of unrealized projects, a cartographic exquisite cadaver. On the left, an aerial view of the Elyssar neighborhood, South of Linor, North of Qadmous. Where canceled and failed plans from the mainland are actualized, where forgotten dreams are stored, frustrations are accomplished and impulses gratified. Inhabited by communities of cross-dressers and interracial-interreligious unions, it receives a regular influx of tourism from the mainland – some looking to relieve urges considered taboo elsewhere, others curious of the outcomes of failed projects. Its economy is largely based on trade, namely of hormones such as melatonin, oxytocin, adrenaline, testosterone, estrogen and progestogens.
